HSM 3

October 31, 2008

Wow, there’s absolutely no mistake in saying that this was a feel-awesome show, not a feel-good show. I LURVED IT. <3

The songs were fab, the story was fun, the antics were evident that this had a much bigger budget to play around with, probably because it’s the only one that went straight to the theatres and not be broadcasted on disney channel.

I liked the dresses in the show too! They were pretty but casual enough for school. The emotions were lovely. I actually teared because it just reminded me of how sad I was to graduate and get past senior year. The feeling just sucked. Heh.

The whole being in the same school as your boyfriend and having to go ’separate’ routes from then, defining your future, deciding your life, etc. BLAH. Just wanted to remain 18 till I die.

And really, at the end of the show I just wanted to jump out of my seats, bounce off the tip of the theatre chairs and somersault down the stairs.

I LIIKE.

Getting out of the theatre stinks though. It was like being sucked back into reality, with a project due in 4 days and going nowhere with it, having a quiz on the same bloody day and tutorials to complete by the same day and exams in 2 weeks. Slightly less, in fact. ARGH.

Final AB102 seminar

Ohh yes, it was the most perfect thing, when Troy held Gabriella close for the dance and sang the following verse:

Take my hand, I’ll take the lead
And every turn will be safe with me
Don’t be afraid, afraid to fall
You know I’ll catch you through it all

Sigh. I felt it. Sniff.

a man’s gotta do…what a girl’s gotta do?

October 29, 2008

So what if my quiz is in 4.5hours time. (Yes, 7pm is really an ungodly hour for a quiz.)

I just have to say something that’s really gonna contradict myself, yet it doesn’t at the same time.

So recently I’ve been falling in love with the library and slowly finding my prime study environment out of this room. And while at library 2 yesterday, Aileen and I were amazed by how quiet it was. We were careful to put our bags down without making a sound!

Then two guys came in and sat at the table behind me and it was just… ugh. They started bitching and gossiping at a volume where I could hear every word because the library’s just so quiet. It was like jumping into the pool when it was calm and still.

The worse part was really the content of their conversation. They were crazy about some girl whom they thought was utterly hot, as I quote, “especially in those grey pants”. Uhm.

And that they heard that “she went wild in JC” and that “she was grinding some guy” and such.

Oh and like “why don’t you go ask her out” that sorta stuff.

And about how one of them was working out in the gym a lot and the other said he shouldn’t or he’ll “become square” because apparently if you’re not that tall and you grow sideways, that’s just the shape you’re gonna evolve into.

Uhm.

It’s just not library conversation y’know? And their gossiping was so bad it was literally odd hearing it from a low booming voice instead of those high-pitched bimbos with the word ‘like’ making up 50% of their conversation.

So I’m gossiping about their gossiping. That’s the irony.

But my point is, that’s not what a dude should be exhibiting aloud in public in front of dudettes, dude. So not cool.

(especially not in the library where people can hear every word cos the library is so damn quiet!)

dancing

October 28, 2008

I’m dancing in the room as if I was in the woods with you
No need for anything but music
Music’s the reason why I know time still exists

So I put my arms around you… around you

sun sun sunday!

October 26, 2008

Splendid Sunday I had ((:

I’m not quite sure what to say about this movie. It was quite retarded. HAHA. Some parts were funny though. But for most parts, it wasn’t quite my kind of humour. Jack Black’s humour never matches with mine. My humour’s more… Whose Line Is It Anyway or FRIENDS.

IN SPITE OF THAT, it did get a few laughs from me. (: Entertaining!

I so badly wanna watch High School Musical next though. HAHAHA.

Keith and I went to our beloved fin seafood cafe again and this time, I had a camera! YAY!

Gosh gosh we just often wonder why there’re so many empty tables whenever we’re there. The food’s GOOD and AFFORDABLE. We’ll just squat there and cry if it closes down. Haha! Faaab. The oysters with lemon and the sweet & spicy sauce was ohhhh-so-yummy. The mussels and clams in my baked rice was faaab too. And the battered fish in the fish & chips was to SO GOOD. I loveeee the fish & chips. :) )

After that, we just walked around and got trigger happy so there!

The next one almost got me killed, as Keith says. Wasn’t looking out for cars as usual. LOL.

Yay whee! ((:

wow.

October 25, 2008

My goodness. I don’t think I’ve seen anything quite like this and it pulled heart strings watching this.

Absolutely amazing contemporary dancing. Absolutely amazing. I just wanna throw myself somewhere and cry my eyes out.

It’s SO superb.

welcome to the world

October 25, 2008

My cousin gave birth to a little precious baby boy, Marcus, on wednesday, 22nd October 2008. Exactly two months after my birthday! Haha!

And… That makes him the third marcus I know. Hrm.

This is the trivial part. My cousins are stealing all the names I like! I liked Lauren for a girl and my niece got named Lauren. I liked Mark for a guy and my nephew got named Marcus. I reckon she’s gonna call him Marc all the time, SO IT’S THE SAME.

Pffft.

When my time comes I’ll just need to go to the library and borrow the big book of children’s names.

I’m such a boring person, sheesh. LOL.

Welcome to the world, little buddy (:

October 22, 2008

I think I just gotta tell myself that I’m a big girl now. Gotta be more independent than this, man.

That that don’t kill me
Can only make me stronger

driving

October 20, 2008

So today, we got into Rachelle’s car as she drove us from south to north spine for dinner, after project.

R: Um, do you girls know how to turn on the lights?

All: What lights?

R: To the car?

All: *laughs their asses off*

I: *shrieks* I DON’T WANNA DIE! *puts on seat belt*

It was SO classic, I swear.

Later on, as she attempted parallel parking, she drove in straight and banged the sidewalk.

I: AHHHHHH. LET ME OUT FIRST!

SL: Do you need someone to stand outside and wave for you to park?

I: LET ME DO IT LET ME DO IT!

LOL.

And later on, I thought she was done parking, so I unbuckled the seat belt. THEN she reversed the car to fit it properly into the space. I freaked out, shrieked and put on the seat belt again. It was FREAKING hilarious, I cried in the car.

Poor girl.
