Wow, there’s absolutely no mistake in saying that this was a feel-awesome show, not a feel-good show. I LURVED IT. <3
The songs were fab, the story was fun, the antics were evident that this had a much bigger budget to play around with, probably because it’s the only one that went straight to the theatres and not be broadcasted on disney channel.
I liked the dresses in the show too! They were pretty but casual enough for school. The emotions were lovely. I actually teared because it just reminded me of how sad I was to graduate and get past senior year. The feeling just sucked. Heh.
The whole being in the same school as your boyfriend and having to go ’separate’ routes from then, defining your future, deciding your life, etc. BLAH. Just wanted to remain 18 till I die.
And really, at the end of the show I just wanted to jump out of my seats, bounce off the tip of the theatre chairs and somersault down the stairs.
I LIIKE.
Getting out of the theatre stinks though. It was like being sucked back into reality, with a project due in 4 days and going nowhere with it, having a quiz on the same bloody day and tutorials to complete by the same day and exams in 2 weeks. Slightly less, in fact. ARGH.
Ohh yes, it was the most perfect thing, when Troy held Gabriella close for the dance and sang the following verse:
Take my hand, I’ll take the lead
And every turn will be safe with me
Don’t be afraid, afraid to fall
You know I’ll catch you through it all
Sigh. I felt it. Sniff.
