Anyhow, today was fun. free ice cream at island creamery, window shopping down orchard, AAR… whee!

I better get going. Gotta shower and pack and sleep and wake up in 4.5 hours. Oops.

Just a shout out to my dear Keith, this holiday made me realise you hardly ever, ever cancel on me. :D Haha. For some reason I got cancelled on a gazillion times this holidays. You’re the best and thanks for always being there. ;) We’ve come a long way!!

HAPPY 21st ((: <3

rainy day

February 25, 2009

I am extremely, extremely restless at home.

And I’d rather be sending out emails to get sponsorships for events then be studying statistics from my bloody notes and textbooks.

Maybe I’ve grown high-tech-ish for those paper.

DEAR GOD I’M SO BORED. Oh and strangely I gained 2kg the other day out of the blue. No idea what happened. And today I realised I’ve shed the 2kg. Hrm.

dilemma

February 23, 2009

I spent the past few days debating with myself whether I should get a new phone or not. To my disappointment, I’m probably not gonna get one yet. I predict I’ll be with my worthless Samsung Z240 for a long, long time.

The exchange programme finally sent an email regarding the second round. So looks like I’ve got another shot, except now we’re only allowed one choice. And I’ve an extreme dilemma. I’ve pretty much rounded off to two universities left. I badly wanted ESSEC France but I couldn’t match much cores.

University of Western Ontario (Canada) vs Mannheim University (Germany)

Okay so let’s lay out the pros and cons.

UWO’s Richard Ivey School of Business

Pros:

  • It’s ranked #2 in Canada and #41 worldwide for Business.
  • It is in Canada, hence I can meet Audrey to tour together.
  • It is in Canada, hence I can visit my dear cousin and nieces.
  • It is in Western Ontario which is crazily near Detroit which is near NYC. HELLOOOOOO?! NYC!!!
  • I can match 1 Business core and 3 Marketing cores.
  • They’re English speaking!

Cons:

  • There is only one spot for this.
  • I don’t need to see NYC now cos I intend to go there for grad trip anyway.
  • I don’t know anyone who’s going to the same university.

Mannheim University

Pros:

  • My dear friend Kailin is going to this very university.
  • The faculties for business, economics and social sciences are ranked as top in Germany and among the best in Europe, and are accredited the same stuff as NBS.
  • It’s in Europe, HELLO EUROTRIP.
  • There are six spots in this university.

Cons:

  • I know zilch German, although yes the courses will be in English.
  • I know zilch about Germany except Hitler.
  • I’ve never lived with Kailin anyway (hence not as close), unlike Audrey…

GRRRR. I can’t decide whether to go for the six spots or one spot. What if everyone rushes for the six spots? What if people think like me? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. They’re both good schools, damn it.

[Edit]

I think I’m tilting towards germany now… eurotrip!!! I’m not sure actually. ARGH. I think. I think!

the leg before the break

February 21, 2009

The past week was filled with mugging for quizzes, and not feeling particularly happy about it thereafter. But boy I enjoyed the company of my friends who make school so much less draggy. I’ve come to terms with going to school every day, I don’t complain about not wanting to go to school anymore. LOVE THEM.

On Thursday after our last quiz for the week, no, last lesson for the week (!), we went crazy albeit being contained in school the whole time. Kl and I were crashing people’s project meetings, poking our heads into their business, reading travel booklets, playing spot the difference and beating a load of high scores. AHAHA. We also oogled at food blogs with PP before running off to have dinner and then proceeding to catch Hall Closing ceremony where my hall was freakin’ awesome, and Rachelle performed for her hall and she was freakin’ awesome too. VERY impressed.

Shou and I went to crash Rachelle’s hall after and feasted on fish porridge. HAHA. I crashed Shou’s hall for a while before we went to crash R’s hall. Didn’t think I wasn’t gonna return till the next morning! The 3 of us snuggled up on 2 beds that left me no space to extend my legs. LOL. When the lights were off, they started chatting like crazy and before you know it, I stopped talking. Zzzz. But it was fun. :) I woke up next day getting a shock cos that there were people sleeping around me. Unusual!

Audrey and I had screwed up meal times yesterday. It was like 11am, 4pm, 11pm. HAHA. Well spread out, no doubt but golly hell. It was neither breakfast nor lunch nor dinner. We went to catch our Hall production at ACJC though. (: and I was very impressed. It made me tear and I think that’s hard to do in a local play. The actors were CRAZILY awesome. I felt so so frustrated when they were frustrated, so sad whe they were sad. SUPERB. :D Hall mates and us went to Holland V for supper thereafter which was funny cos we were trying to make a poor soul pay for all our orders. :X

Got back at 1 last night and now I’m wrecking my brains for what to sing for easter. Stupid me had to press ’send’ without thinking of what to perform. Crap.

HELLO WEEK OF HOLIDAYS!!!!

Overdue

February 18, 2009

Feeling much better today! (: MUCH LOVE TO AILEEN. finally got to hang out with her! a week ++ is really like a year in girl’s context, as i quote bride wars. HAHAHA. so bloody bimbotic that made me cry buckets. grrr. my tap needs a knob!

last week was fall out boy week. i just knew about the tickets i won about 4 days before the concert, and was frantic about collecting it but i managed to and brought seige along with me. :) and boy was it a blast! i’m still young, i’m gonna mosh while i can!!! screw maturity, i just wanna bounce around in the mosh pit, scream and wear black tops and sneakers. HELLO TEENS. :)

This is as close to steady hands as possible. HAHA.

Amazing experience. The last time I moshed was probably Simple Plan, and the various MTV Asia Awards held in Singapore. I was probably too young to appreciate moshing then. HAHA. I’d probably just annoy my then-self. Whee. :)

Vday this year was interesting too! Keith took me down to millenia walk to enjoy some carnivorous meal at Outback Steakhouse! YUMMYYY.

Even though it didn’t end up very eventful cos of me (lol), it was still a nice day. :) ) THANKS FOR THE FOODIES!

alright, audrey’s finally ready, off to dinner!

uhm

February 16, 2009

wow, the last post was a while back.

for the past few hours i’ve been feeling like a loner.

i’m not sure of how to describe it.

on top of it, i feel somewhat disappointed. perhaps more in me than anything else. i’m a tough nut to crack and awfully tough to please. tsk.

i need a spine, a clear head, a better concentration level..

and some sleep, which i shall go off to get right now. let the week not be a dreadful one.

blank

February 3, 2009

I’m in a i-don’t-feel-like-being-sociable mood.

I’ve just gotten rid of the nail polish and the nails now look HIDEOUS as they’re two-toned, and I don’t wanna paint them without the base coat.

Oh what a bimbotic topic.

I just wanna sit here and sulk at the world until I get news from INSTEP.
